Four ground works titled and functioning as "Dance Floor" structure the Gottfried von Einem Wine Trail leading from Maissau to Oberdürnbach which has been additionally equipped with tables and benches by Katharina Struber. "Dance Floor" is a ground ornament painted onto the asphalt with yellow paint used for road markings. It represents a sequence of steps which when followed do not only result in the respective dance but also in a series of letters which are combined with the steps. "Waltz" is represented by a line of five meters which follows the trail (MY BODY) and is crossed by two lines standing for "polka" (SHAME AND BLISS) and "New Bavarian" (PRESERVING FORGETTING); at the end of the trail a "Scottish country dance" is painted in a circle at a crossroad (OTHER HEAVEN - UNKNOWN HELL). The terms which are inspired by religious creeds, petitions and blessings stand for a Catholic tradition combining local dances with folklore and folk art and standing as reminders of deeply rooted values. They are absorbed by the dance which in turn is absorbed by the semantics of the street which becomes an identity-generating place for pausing without, however, leaving the asphalt level.
